Final Verdict at OzCHI 2015

Three finalist teams presented their work during the conference where each team was evaluated based upon their overall performance from 24-hour challenge to presentation. The winners of the challenge are listed below.

OzCHI SDC 2015 Proceedings

This year we shortlisted 3 finalists and 3 runner ups teams whose papers will be included in the digital proceedings of OzCHI 2015. Below we list all the papers that these teams submitted to illustrate their process to come up to the final design solution for the given challenge. The first three are the finalist teams and the rest three are the runner-up teams. The final awards will be awarded during the OzCHI 2015 where the three finalist teams will be competing again based on the overall performance.

Finalists

Three teams are selected to present their work in the OzCHI conference, 2015 happening at Melbourne.

UX’treme: The wilt deniers from Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, India

Normans from Australian National University, Australia

Berserkbatalion from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India

Each team will be supported by a travel scholarship worth 1000 AUD in reimbursements  and 1 student registration to the OzCHI conference. Each team is required to submit their camera ready version by 9th October, which will become a part of the digital proceedings of OzCHI 2015.

Shortlisted Teams

In addition to the finalists, we have shortlisted three more teams, whose submissions will also appear in the digital proceeding of OzCHI 2015. Each team is required to submit their camera ready version by 9th October, 2015.

Mini-Challenge Winners

We had three mini-challenges during the 24-hour challenge. The winners of every mini challenge are listed below.

Mini-Challenge 1: The winners of the first mini-challenge were the Yellow Stripes with three teams as runner-ups: BrahmaputraNormans, and  Mind Bogglers.

Mini-Challenge 2: The team Yellow Umbrella won the challenge with The Normans holding the second placeEagle Eye and Pataippu received the Honourable Mentions.

Mini-Challenge 3: The winners of the third mini challenge were The Lucky Mercenaries  with The Normans as runner-upsPataippu and Yellow Umbrella received the Honourable Mentions.
