Finalists

The OzCHI24 2016 review process is now complete. Each submissions was reviewed by three academics. The nominated contact from each team should receive an email in the next 24 hours with their team’s reviews.

From this review process, three teams have been selected to present their work in Launceston, Tasmania, during the OzCHI Conference (29 November to 2 December 2016) where their presentations will judged by a small expert panel. All three teams did a fantastic job overcoming stereotypes, discussing and defending their excellent ideas, demonstrating their prototypes, and made exemplary use of design methodologies. Those teams are (in order of TeamID):

Tessellations (2016013)
University of Queensland, Australia
Alyssa DiSalvo, Zishan (Rena) Yu, Shiva Balachandran, Trevor Hunter, Peter Worthy

The Inquisitors (2016053)
Indiana University, U.S.A.
AnnaRose Girvin, Bhavesh Anand, Sarah Kiner

Ultimate Rainbow Spectrum (2016055)
Queensland University of Technology, Australia

Thanks to generous contributions from our sponsors HFESA, and Infoxchange, each team will be supported by a travel scholarship that includes up to 1000 AUD in reimbursements and one student tickets to the OzCHI conference. We will contact the finalists shortly to discuss travel arrangements.
